A pending decision on school closures and amalgamations, have North Island parents worried about the quality of education their children would receive.
Parents spoke out at two public consultation meetings held at Cheslakees Elementary in Port McNeill Apr. 7 and at Robert Scott Elementary in Port Hardy Apr. 8. Read article

On behalf of the council of the District of Port Hardy, I wish to add my support to the request by the Board of Trustees of School District 85 to have your ministry maintain funding levels for our school district.
